The LiftMaster 878MAX wireless gate and or garage door opener keypad is compatible with many of the LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Craftsman opener manufactured since 1993. This high quality and easy to program keypad allows the user to program there own 4 digit PIN code and all keypad programming is done using the keypads keys. The LiftMaster 878MAX keypad is compatible with LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Craftsman an other private labeled openers manufactured by Chamberlain Corp since1993. This keypad can be used with any of the types of garage door openers or gate receivers from the compatibility list below. The LiftMaster 878MAX wireless keypad also allows the user to set a temporary PIN code that will only work for either a short time period between 1 and 255 hours or number of uses between 1 and 255 times before it automatically expires. This temporary PIN feature only works on the garage door openers with the built in radio receiver that support this feature, it will not work with the external radio receivers. A convenient feature of the LiftMaster 878MAX keypad is the one button to close function for garage door opener with the built in radio receiver manufactured since 2006 that allows the garage door to be closed by just pressing the "Enter" key without the need to enter the PIN code. This mode can be turned on or off through the keypad. This item is new in box and includes battery (installed), mounting screws and programming instructions.
