The Sky JH-TX558 4-channel wireless keypad copies from existing remotes to duplicate the signal and uses a programmable 6-digit PIN code for each channel. When copying from a code switch and fixed code types of remotes, once it has learned the signal and the PIN code to use, no additional programming would be needed. With rolling code type remotes, once it has learned the signal and the  PIN code to use, it would then have to be learned by the opener before it would work. Since this universal duplicating learning keypad can copy from different formats (code switch, fixed code and rolling code remotes) it has more flexibility over many other models of keypads that are typically limited to either fixed code or rolling code or have fixed operating frequency. The Sky JH-TX558 wireless keypad also features a 2 minute time out function that stops the keypad from transmitting the signal after 3 incorrect entries are made as a security measure in case someone is randomly pressing codes trying to gain access. Since each channel is independently programmable you are not limited to the brand or types of remotes that it can copy from, as long as it is within the frequency range range of 280MHz to 870MHz and is not one of the few remotes it is not compatible with. Comes with keypad, batteries, mounting screws and programming instructions.
