Rings have long been a popular and prized piece of jewelry to wear for Native Americans who are known to wear many turquoise rings on each hand.  Rings have had a mystical and symbolic meaning throughout history and many different cultures.  The circular shape has represented the cycle of life and eternal love.  Giving turquoise rings as a gift is thought to bestow good fortune and prosperity.
No hallmark except for "Sterling" on the inside of the band.
Pieces before
1970 were rarely signed.  As the demand
from collectors became stronger, the collectors wanted to be able to identify who made their jewelry.  In 1970 it was recommended the jewelry be identified
by a hallmark.   From that time on more and more jewelry was
identified by a hallmark.
The stones are
set on a foundation of sterling silver.
I have hand polished this ring with a
soft polishing cloth to a soft beautiful shine.  That
is the beauty of sterling silver, it will become dark and can be polished back to a shine time after time.

Stanley Parker is a superb silversmith and uses only natural turquoise in his work.

hammering from the reverse side to create a design in relief - which you can see on
